The BORLA Team has an awesome sounding exhaust for your Sonata. Our 2.25″ diameter Cat-Back™ system is specifically tuned for the Hyundai 1.6L engine. The S-Type system delivers a sound that is much sportier than stock, yet far from obnoxious, and is drone-free. System includes a flow plate to eliminate check engine light that may be caused by the increase of airflow of the BORLA system. The muffler features BORLA’s Polyphonic Exhaust Harmonizer technology which utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full bodied sound. The system features dual 3.5″ round black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips. Using BORLA Stainless Steel Polish p# 21461 is NOT recommended with these black chrome tips. A system with bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips is also available.
